A former member of the Golden Dawn and a trained psychologist, Regardie also for a time was the personal secretary for Crowley. His experiences led him to write this very interesting biography of The Beast.

This is an objective biographical study of Crowley written by someone who lived and worked intimately with him. The In The Triangle was written many years later, after long contemplation, and Regardie combines the psychological insight afforded by his professional training as a Reighian analyst with his grasp of Crowley's magical personality.
