Astral projection or astral travel is the act of projecting one's
consciousness through the astral body of light rather than the physical body.
The astral body is not limited by time or space and can travel to the ends of
the earth as well as the beginning of time. Revered in many cultures as an
important spiritual practice, astral projection has been lost to many
Westerners since the early Christian period, but much has been recovered in
the last hundred years. Dreams are an endless source of information and
spiritual direction that bubble up from our unconscious selves, but dreams
