November opens with the Sun, Mercury, Venus, Mars and Jupiter all traveling through the enigmatic sign of Scorpio. This abundance of Scorpion energy is a powerhouse of determination, analysis, and passion. The lack of planets in earth signs, Mercury's retrograde movement, AND the dominance of a challenging configuration from Saturn and Neptune (planets that teach us patience and fortitude) can frustrate one's desire to manifest goals in a prompt manner. It may feel like peeling an onion in that one issue after another will arise to complicate matters, but then again as Scorpio is the sign of mystery and mastery, consider that perhaps there is a karmic theme that needs to be fully experienced in order to gain mastery so that one can either truly transform and/or let go of expectations, judgements and/or a situation. These aspects are excellent for mindfulness meditation and getting in touch with one's obsessive side. The healthy impulse will be to breakup routines or perceived limitations through group associations, innovation, flexibility, and/or escape.

The Taurus Full Moon at 5:58 AM on 11/5 is a powerful force for change, and introspection with so many Scorpio planets and the Moon making 3 days of oppositions. Oppositions tend to work as a relationship aspect, so this Full Moon will provide ample opportunity to understand others on a much deeper level. The early weeks of November provide Neptunian alignments that can trigger a level of confusion or a sense of disillusionment from the 6^th to 16^th. Put off decisions until you can feel a sense of peace with your choice. If you feel confused or in the dark about a direction bring in more light through contemplative prayer, meditation, breath work, yoga or nature walks. From 11/13-11/28 many of the personal planets will form square aspects to the planet of caution and serious consideration, Saturn. This is an excellent time to focus deeply on a project that stimulates your heart and a sense of accomplishment. From Nov 14-24^th Mercury trines Uranus creating a witty, solution orientated dynamic where answers are easily attained. Mercury returns to direct motion on 11/17 at 9° of Scorpio on the same day that Venus the planet of romance enters fun loving Sagittarius. Uranus resumes direct motion on 11/19 at 11° of Pisces. The Scorpio New Moon occurs at 3:18 PM on November 20^th with the Sun, Moon, Jupiter and Mars joined together in a challenging aspect to Saturn. This is an inhibited New Moon energy bringing out the serious, shrewd, depth orientated side of Scorpio that is so good at focusing on details. On 11/22 the Sun moves into optimistic Sagittarius with Jupiter following on the 23^rd. Sagittarius is Jupiter's home turf so expect the holidays to be extra festive with more people willing to travel. On 11/28 Mercury squares Neptune while Mars squares Saturn creating a calamitous planetary dynamic, don't make assumptions on this day, stay in the moment and pay attention. The last two days of November are more conducive to accomplishments.
