JUNE'S ASTROLOGICAL TRENDS

June breezes in with the Sun and Mercury traveling through the constellation of Gemini. As the sign of the twins, Gemini is often of two minds and is associated with duality, versatility and cleverness. The early days of June may test us in our adaptability; going with the flow will be easier for some than others. Mercury the trickster deity, rules Gemini, so any attachment to an expectation or a specific outcome may have its own digressions. Always keep a sense of humor when Mercury rules the skies. Saturday June 3rd has both Mercury and Mars changing signs. Mercury moves into Cancer supporting projects of a domestic or family nature while energetic Mars enters fun orientated Leo. Sunday finds rapport focused Venus in a disappointing square with Saturn intimating difficult relationship decisions or that a serious financial situation needs to be addressed. The link between these two planets does favor realistic assessment and compromise.

Monday June 5th ensues with the Sun meeting Uranus in an irritating square aspect indicating unexpected shifts and modifications will be necessary. On Tuesday, Venus in conservative Taurus faces off with enthusiastic Jupiter in cunning Scorpio, indicating negotiations may be necessary in order to find a satisfactory solution that suits everyone. The process of working things out gets a fabulous boost on Friday as Mercury and Jupiter link in an expansive and success orientated bond. Saturday has the Sun inspired by a romantic and psychic trine to Neptune while Venus’ sextile to eccentric Uranus favors the social and unusual. Sunday’s Full Moon in optimistic Sagittarius is known as the festival of Goodwill and is considered one of the three great Full Moon Festivals honoring the spirit of fellowship and envisioning world unity.

Monday June 12th finds Mercury and Uranus in a lively conversation early in the week. This is a very innovative combination that favors brainstorming and networking. By Thursday Venus is in a challenging aspect with Neptune, this energy dynamic can lead to misunderstandings and erroneous assumptions. The need for extra sleep and reflective time would be greater now. Friday has the Sun opposing power vigilant Pluto, lending an interesting energy to the day and weekend. Flexibility may be key to a successful weekend. On Saturday Mars pairs up with Saturn for a slowed concentration of Leo energy that demands greater effort and time to manifest ones desires. On Father’s Day Sunday the 18th the Pisces Moon brings up feelings of nostalgia and sentimentality; it’s a good day to get the photo albums out.

On Monday June 19th Uranus the planet that rules technology and change turns retrograde at the same time that impatient Mars squares off with enthusiastic Jupiter. This high anxiety aspect can be used to move forward delayed projects or plans. On Wednesday at 6: 26 Am the Summer solstice occurs as the Sun enters Cancer. The week of the 26th seems fairly quiet until Wednesday when the Moon and Mercury enter fun loving Leo. Mercury is now slowing down in preparation of its turn to retrograde next week. Friday and Saturday find the Sun in an easy link with social and pleasure tuned Jupiter. Sunday has Venus in an opportunity aspect with Saturn, indicating that commitments and work relations can move forward in a realistic manner.
